Search engines are online tools that help you to find information on the web. Google is an example of a search engine. The Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) is a federal law that requires schools to have a filter in place to filter out inappropriate content. By giving students a list of designated search engines to use, we are providing even more safety. Below are search engines designed for students that are safer and specific to topics that are often researched in school.

National Geographic web site is an extension of the magazine. Here you will find lots of interesting facts, games, pictures and videos about various topics.
